All service users have a primary mental health diagnosis such as schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, OCD, dual diagnosis, self harm and some personality disorders.

Three phase model

Our three-phase model of service generally takes between 12-24 months to complete, with support from our highly-trained, skilled and motivated staff teams.

Our approach, which we have refined over 50 years' of practice, is based on social and situational learning, William Antony's rehabilitation and recovery model, and personal construct psychology.

Time and again our approach has been shown to be effective for people with even the most complex needs. Over 80% of service users who complete our programme go on to lead and sustain more independent lives.

Whole person assessment
Each service attracts people from across the region in which it is based. We work with people aged from 18-65, though service users are generally aged from mid 20s to mid 40s.

Before being accepted on to a 2Care programme we offer a comprehensive 'whole person' assessment to identify individual needs.

By providing structured rehabilitation for people who cannot yet cope with life in the wider community, 2Care's services provide an essential step on the pathway to independence.
