Parkview benefits from a very active Friends Group. Drawn predominantly from family members of service users and staff, past and present, the group gives generously of their time and energy - raising funds, which help improve further the quality of life for service users. Parkview is a happy and active home. Family days and celebrations are very much part of life at Parkview; from celebrations for specific events such as the Queen's Golden Jubilee, religious festivals, birthdays and anniversaries to organising shared experiences, such as days out. The staff team are committed to providing the very best service possible for older people.
2Care's "Model of Care for Older People Living with Dementia" is person-centred and solution focussed. Based on a system of keyworking and care planning. It is tailored to meet the needs of the individual. Choice and dignity are foundation stones on which Parkview's skilled services are both sensitivity and sympathetically provided. Parkview House provides a package of care where safety, peace of
mind and a contented but busy atmosphere ensure that in the latter
